Did you create the pattern for the belt yourself?

I did! It was not fun, which is why I decided to make the pattern to help people out. :)

It is a cotton/silk hybrid of some sort (I never really looked into it lol!) I had to alter it a lot, it came in just the flat blue so I had to add the gold and the pleats myself. Sorry this doesn't help much! XD

No prob. ^_^ Thanks for trying to answer. I thought maybe you had, by some miracle, found fabric with the print on it. Its a great costume.

Your dragon looks so realistic! Adds a lot of character to the shot.

Here's a progress photo: [link]

He's done with modeling foam, fun foam, fake nails, stick-on pearls and coated in Stucco in the end.

Wow. Freaking awesome. I'm loving the paint job.
I asked 'cause I'm working on a dragon "rider" costume for Halloween. But my dragon isn't anywhere near as realistic. Papercraft's more my forte.

But wow. :O

It's carved out of foam and coated with LOTS of glue and paint to stiffen it. You can see some pics of the process here: [link] ^.^
